Everyone who knows me knows I am a Halo fanatic. I have been addicted to first person shooters since the Days of Doom 3 for the Playstation. The Online aspect of Halo is what really sets it apart from any other first person shooter. It allows People from all over the world to communicate and strategize with each other in real time. I have the handle angervillemusic on Xbox live so friend request me and we can shoot up some peeps.

Today Marks a very anticipated historical event in entertainment history. Halo 3 will be the biggest entertainment event ever. That includes movies, albums, theatre, and concerts, nothing comes close. I will not be standing on my crutches at 12 am downtown waiting for my copy, instead I will grab my morning tim hortons and then pick up my standard addition copy at 8 am.

So I was thinking about the years of fun I had playing Halo and I decided to write a song. It is produced by my good friend DJ Shamann and features samples from the video game in the beat. I hope everyone enjoys this from Hip Hop fans to Gamers alike

Angerville & Gamshooter

The Anger Management EP

Available online as a free download, The Anger Management EP introduces two upcoming T-dot talents in a fitting collaboration between producer Gamshooter, who has also worked with Above the Law, Nish Raawks and Bishop Brigante, and emcee duo Conscious Thought and Fortunato, who, with an occasional posthumous verse from honourary third member Ill Da Shystee, form Angerville. The EP opens strong with Gamshooter utilizing a heavy synthesizer bass as the backbone to a dark, spacey funk jam for a cocky Angerville introduction. Then “Rage-A-Holic,” an angry, fist-pumping anthem that pays tribute to both marijuana and rapping as superb sources of stress-relief, is a perfect follow-up that sets a high standard for the rest of the album. It also presents the ideal image of what a group named Angerville should sound like, but, unfortunately, they never again match that intensity. Instead, things mellow out with “Hip Hop” and “Hustlin',” the best two of a string of songs with that grimey, New York underground sound. From there on in it's an all-in-one combination of trife life tales, braggadocio battle raps, hip-hop love and witty one-liners. With this collaboration, both Gamshooter and Angerville demonstrate plenty of potential even it's not terribly original. Hey guys, it's Rebirth. So far half of the project is complete and beginning to get down to the final tracks. So far, it's going good and we've decided that the EP will be entitled "Angerville Vs. Royce Birth: Daily Operation" (title taken from Gangstarr's Daily Operation)

The title explains it all, we've been at it with these tracks on the daily and we've REALLY worked hard to make this project sound dope as fuck. Back to the Cuban Linx shit, Back to the Liquid Swords shit, Back to the Paid In Full shit is the best that i can describe it.

This is Hip Hop At Its Finest, Hip Hop till infinity type of music..never backwards, always moving ahead. This is not no hustle, this is the craft back at work. Radio support or not.

So far, the lead singles The Knock and Collapse has had some tremendous success, be on the lookout for the next single "Broken Drum"

EP will be officially released November 15th, 2007. I'll be dropping a sampler before it hits.

Our home on the net

We been Spittin' for years and never had a website, so we said to ourselves, selves? Don't you think it's about time you got a website? and the rest is history. Speaking of which, did you know that Angerville was founded by emcees Conscious Thought and Fortunato? It was a meeting of the minds, and now a legacy is being created through their music. The Third member of Angerville is ILL DA SHYSTEE (r.i.p.) who is still known to drop the occasional verse from the afterlife.
